CCMS & Associates is seeking a homeowners liability desk adjuster (Florida-licensed) with at least 5 years experience. This position is ready to be filled immediately. Now is the time to join our team!
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years homeowners liability adjusting experience * Working computer/laptop - internet access and Microsoft Word required * Strong time management and customer service skills * Currently active Florida adjusters license *must be self-appointed*
Responsibilities: * Conduct in-depth investigations into liability claims to gather facts regarding the loss * Investigate claims by obtaining recorded statements from insureds, claimants, or witnesses, and by interviewing fire, police, or other government officials * Maintain compliance on each claim in an active caseload * Review applicable coverage forms and endorsements, and provide a thorough analysis of issues in well-documented reports to client * Maintain acceptable product quality through compliance with established best practices
Knowledge and Skills: * In-depth knowledge of liability insurance coverage and industry standards * Ability to prepare full-captioned reports by collecting and summarizing required information * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Prompt, reliable, and friendly * Detail-oriented individual to accurately gather and analyze information to avoid errors
