Location: Hams Hall, Coleshill, Birmingham Salary: £29,029.56 per annum Shift: Monday to Friday 40 hours 06:00 - 14:30, 13:30 - 22:00 rotation Contract: Temporary – until mid-January 2027

We have an exciting opportunity for two Peak Lead Operatives to join our team at Hams Hall on a temporary basis to support our busy peak period.
This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse experience who is confident taking responsibility, motivating colleagues and helping to ensure daily operational targets are achieved.
What You'll Be Doing:-
* As a Peak Lead Operative, you'll support the Operations Management team in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the shift. * To perform all the duties of a warehouse operative. * Monitor activities within the designated work area to ensure tasks are completed in line with policies and procedures. * To support the team and ensure internal SLAs are met. * To provide support to the supervisor in key areas of processes and training. * Supervise and delegate work tasks to the team in the absence of the supervisor. * Adhere to all Security, Health & Safety, and housekeeping policies and processes. * Ensure Housekeeping standards are maintained within the designated work areas. * To actively contribute and support the SQDIPE initiative to ensure the working environment is clean, tidy, and safe. * Escalate any performance/safety issues.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For:-
We're looking for someone who is reliable, proactive and comfortable taking the lead in a busy warehouse environment.
Ideally, you'll have:
* Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment.
* Experience supporting or supervising colleagues, although this isn't essential.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* The confidence to motivate others and lead by example.
* A flexible, hands-on approach and the ability to work under pressure.
* A good understanding of warehouse Health & Safety procedures.
* A positive attitude and a willingness to support the wider team.
