JOB SUMMARY The Facilities Specialist I is a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional dedicated to maintaining a clean, safe, and visually impressive work environment. This role supports daily facility operations by performing routine cleaning, maintenance, and repair tasks with precision and care. The ideal candidate takes pride in creating orderly spaces, responds promptly to service requests, and consistently upholds high standards of quality and safety.

This position requires strong organizational skills, a friendly and collaborative attitude, and a willingness to assist multiple departments as needed. The Facilities Specialist I communicates effectively, uses basic computer systems to track tasks, and works safely and efficiently to complete assignments. Experience in cGMP environments is a plus, and integrity, dependability, and a commitment to excellence are essential.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Clean lab benches across the company. * Dust light fixtures and ceiling vents. * Sweep work and production areas. * Wipe down tops of refrigerators and chambers. * Escort food and drink vendors. * Escort service contractors. * Help keep the café clean and stocked. * Assist with general building maintenance and repairs. * Drive and service company vehicles for maintenance tasks. * Report to the Associate Director of Metrology. * Follow all safety and cleanliness rules. * Follow cGMP guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED required with 0-3 years of relevant experience. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working on ladders up to 12 feet. Able to stand and move around for long periods.

MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

* Strong organizational skills. * Highly motivated to maintain a clean work environment. * Friendly and works well with others. * Willing to help different departments. * Good communication. * Basic computer skills, with experience in Microsoft Outlook and Excel. * Experience with cGMP is a plus. * Honest, dependable, and care about quality.
