About the role
NorthKey Community Care is seeking a full-time Revenue Cycle Specialist to provide billing support functions in a friendly, positive, and professional manner in an outpatient healthcare environment. Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Location: 503 Farrell Drive, Covington, KY 41011.

QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma or equivalent is required. Associate's degree or higher is preferred. * At least 2 years of prior medical billing and/or coding experience is strongly preferred. * Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and/or Commercial payors * Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills. * Skills in analyzing billing issues to formulate logical and objective conclusions and/or recommendations for solutions. * Proficient in the use of computers and business software (in particular Electronic Health Record systems and Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel.
JOB DUTIES * Support NorthKey Community Care staff and clients regarding billing matters in a polite, courteous, and professional manner. * Submit billing data to third-party payers and work claims to ensure maximum reimbursement for services provided. * Perform posting charges and completion of claims to payers in a timely fashion. * Assist, cooperate, and communicate with staff regarding fiscal matters in the billing department. * Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
