$2,000 sign on Bonus
Schedule / Shift Hours:
5 days per week with flexible shifts between 7:00 AM–7:00 PM.
Weekend: 1st and 3rd Saturday clinics; MAs rotate Saturday coverage

Role Overview
As a Medical Assistant, you play a vital role in providing quality and compassionate care to patients. You will support providers and nursing leadership by performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks, ensuring a seamless and positive patient experience.

What You Will Do
* Greet and escort patients to the exam room. * Obtain and record patient medical histories. * Measure and record vital signs. * Prepare patients for examinations and procedures. * Assist providers during examinations and procedures.

Required Qualifications
* High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. * Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160-hour minimum), or equivalent experience as outlined in the job description.
* Additional Requirements: Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160 hour minimum). OR Graduate from a Medical Assistant program without completion of a clinical externship but with a minimum one-year experience in clinical medical assisting within the past five (5) years. OR Current Professionally Recognized Medical Assistant Certification with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in clinical medical assisting. OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). OR Licensed Paramedic/Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with at least one-year clinical experience in clinical medical setting within the past five (5) years. OR Military trained medical personnel with at least one-year clinical experience in clinical medical setting within the past five (5) years.
* Current BLS-C certification upon hire or successful completion by the end of orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
* Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills. * EPIC (Electronic Medical Record) experience.
