Responsibilities
* Plan and run data migrations from legacy systems (VistA, Maximo, DMLSS) to modern platforms, and write the data migration plans. * Build ETL/ELT pipelines in Databricks (PySpark, Spark SQL) and VALIP. * Write and maintain the data mapping and validation plan; reconcile and validate data after each load. * Mask and sanitize production data for lower environments. * Support data extraction, analytics requests and decommissioning data archives.
Qualifications
* 6+ years in ETL, data migration or database development (Mid / Level II). * SQL and Python; PySpark or Spark SQL. * Data mapping, validation and reconciliation for migrations.
Desired Skills:
* Migrating from VistA, Maximo or DMLSS. * Data masking for lower environments. * HL7, FHIR or EDI data formats.
Education:
* Bachelor's degree. * Certified (Maximo) Deployment Professional. * Databricks Certified Data Engineer; Databricks Certified Generative AI Engineer.
Clearance:
* Must be able to obtain a Tier 2 / Moderate Risk Public Trust and a VA PIV credential.
Location:
* Remote, USA.
Pay Range:
* The suggested pay for this position ranges from $110,546 to $125,875. * The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. * Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses. * TISTA associates are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits plan!
