About the role
The Host/Hostess, typically the first person a guest meets at The Continental, sets the atmosphere for the dining experience. Along with taking reservations, to-go orders and seating the host/hostess assists fellow employees and management in providing an exceptional experience to all those who visit Ford House.
Position Duties & Responsibilities * Work in tandem with the management team to successful operate The Continental. * Adhere to the policies and procedures of both Continental Services and Ford House. * Complete the training program for the Host position. * Support the servers and The Speedster attendants with food and beverage service. * Greet, direct and seat guests at tables. * Take, place, package and provide to-go orders to guests. * Maintain the overall cleanliness and order of The Continental dining room. * Complete any tasks assigned by the management staff.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* Previous host/hostess experience preferred, but not required. * Availability to work during The Continental & The Speedster’s hours of operation. * Work with fellow team members and bring a positive energy to our culture. * The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
