Ready for an international challenge? Are you passionate about industrial processes and looking for an enriching experience abroad? Join our team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA as a Yeast Extract Process Engineer under a VIE contract!
The job at a glance For 18 months, you will be involved in optimizing production processes, supporting new equipment start-ups, and contributing to new product development.
What you will do
* Optimize production processes (autolysis, microfiltration, drying, etc.) alongside the group's industrial management * Support the drying department at Cedar Rapids * Conduct and coordinate studies and continuous improvement actions in terms of time, organization, and cost * Participate in the start-up of new installations * Lead industrial trials * Take on other assigned projects
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in food-industrial engineering * At least 1 year of industrial field experience (postgraduate) * Fluent English is mandatory * Solid knowledge of unit operations of industrial processes * Ability to work in a multicultural environment with autonomy, initiative, and teamwork skills * Strong communication skills and a hands-on engineering mindset
