* Job Title: Laboratory Technician * Job Type: Temporary 12 months * Salary: £24,758 pa plus Shift Allowance * Location: Cambridge * Hours: 1 x Sunday (12:00-22:00), Monday - Wednesday (11:30-22:00) 1 x Wednesday-Friday (11:30-22:00) Saturday (12:00-22:00) * Industry: Health & Nutrition, Food
Role overview:
* Perform sample preparation and extraction following SGS-approved SOPs. * Report any equipment or instrumentation failures to senior staff. * Maintain organized, auditable laboratory records. * Complete daily tasks efficiently to support operational output. * Maintain a safe working environment, following Health & Safety protocols
Qualifications
The ideal candidate would be from a food process driven background such as fast food restaurants or food manufacturing. No previous lab experience or degree is required!
* Experience in working with food and fast paced environments * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately. * Good organisational skills to maintain records and compliance. * Proactive approach to learning and development.
