About the Role: Reporting to the Client Care Manager, the Customs Import Specialist is responsible for processing shipment releases for our clients accurately and efficiently while delivering outstanding service.
What You’ll Do:
* Monitor assigned entry folders and prioritize shipments by ETA for timely submission to customs * Process entries for ocean, air, truck, and rail shipments * Handle in-bonds, AES filings, prior notices, manifests, and ISF submissions * Review documentation to ensure complete entry packages before processing * Communicate internally and externally with carriers, vendors, and clients via phone and email * Monitor entry dashboards and escalate “moment of truth” issues to the Production Manager * Perform other duties as required

* Ability to represent GHY professionally and collaborate effectively * Strong prioritization skills in a fast-paced, changing environment * Self-motivated and able to work independently * Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills * Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Ability to meet tight deadlines
What You’ll Bring:
* Completion of Grade 12 Education * Prior Brokerage Services/Logistics Experience Preferred
Working Conditions:
* Sitting at desk, 95% * Standing at counter/machine, 5%
Position Classification:
* Associate Level II/III: Wage dependent upon experience. PREMIUM pay offered for Evening Shift.

* Two Stat Holidays may be required to be worked annually * Participation in the afterhours/on-call rotation will be required
