Position: Investment Operations & Fund Accounting Analyst Type:Contract Compensation:$75–$110/hour Location:Remote Commitment:15 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
* Reconcile ledgers against custodian/bank statements. Isolate and explain residual differences. Produce signed-off reconciliation with adjusting entries. * Attribute NAV movements. Flag components outside tolerance and write variance commentary. * Investigate trade breaks between systems. Identify root cause, classify the break, propose fixes, and draft investigation narratives. * Process corporate-action events. Compute entitlements per account. Handle payment/transfer exceptions and match merchant/vendor descriptors to a canonical registry. * Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.
Qualifications
Must-Have
* 3+ years in fund administration or investment operations. * Experience with fund accounting, reconciliations, corporate actions, trade support, or payment operations. * Strong Excel skills.
Preferred
* CPA or IOC certification. * Experience with fund-accounting systems like SS&C, Geneva, Multifonds, or InvestOne. * Familiarity with SWIFT/settlement systems.
