We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, particularly in the design and management of water-related projects.
Some major responsibilities you're in charge of:
* Apply extensive knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices across diverse project areas
* Serve as a technical specialist, staff adviser and consultant to the civil engineering specialty, for any given water/wastewater and/or public works project
* Undertake complex assignments, pioneering new civil engineering techniques or procedures to enhance project outcomes
* Ensure that drawings and designs are in accordance with company production, codes, and established design standards
* Direct and perform the preparation of improvement plans, specifications, supporting documents and permit applications for projects
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited university
* Registered Professional Engineer in the state of California (we're seeking a certified Project Engineer but we also value candidates who possess extensive experience as a designer, capable of performing engineering duties at an advanced level).
* At least 3-5 years of Project Engineer experience in the field of civil engineering including water, wastewater
* An expert using Civil3D, AutoCAD, ArcGIS software programs
