Receiving & Distribution Lead Company: Party Teller Location: 1954 Williams St, San Leandro, CA 94577 Pay: $30.00 per hour Employment: Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt About Party Teller Party Teller is a fast-growing specialty retailer offering party supplies, balloons, Halloween merchandise, holiday décor, gifts, and seasonal products. We are looking for a hands-on Receiving & Distribution Lead to support our warehouse operations and ensure merchandise is accurately received, organized, and distributed to our retail stores. Key Responsibilities
* Receive and unload incoming merchandise and shipments. * Verify quantities against packing lists and receiving documents. * Identify and report shortages, damages, or receiving discrepancies. * Organize, label, and store merchandise in designated warehouse locations. * Sort and allocate merchandise to different Party Teller retail stores. * Pick, pack, stage, and prepare merchandise for store deliveries and transfers. * Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cycle counts and physical inventory. * Coordinate with Supply Chain and Store Operations regarding receiving and distribution needs. * Assign and coordinate daily tasks for warehouse associates or temporary workers as needed. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse. * Support new store openings and seasonal inventory distribution as needed.
Qualifications * 2+ years of warehouse, receiving, inventory, or distribution experience preferred. * Previous Lead or supervisory experience is preferred. * Experience with receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, and shipping. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team. * Basic computer and inventory system skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. * Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus. * Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Chinese is a plus.
Physical Requirements * Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. * Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform normal warehouse activities. * Ability to safely lift and move merchandise as required.
