Deli Assistant - Full Time
EUROSPAR Bunclody is seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Full-Time Deli Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will help deliver an excellent shopping experience by providing high-quality food products, outstanding customer service, and maintaining high standards throughout the deli department.
* Prepare and serve deli products in accordance with food safety and company standards
* Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with product queries
* Ensure food is presented attractively and displayed to a high standard
* Monitor product quality, freshness, and stock levels
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the deli area
* Follow HACCP procedures and food safety regulations at all times
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the department
Requirements
* Previous experience in a deli, food service, retail, or customer-facing role is desirable but not essential
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Knowledge of food safety and HACCP procedures is an advantage
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends
