About the role

Intro

At Screening Eagle Singapore, we build technology that helps protect the world's critical infrastructure and other physical assets. By combining advanced software, AI, connected inspection technologies, and data-driven insights, we enable owners and operators to detect issues early, make informed decisions, and prevent small problems from becoming costly or catastrophic failures.    Our teams in Singapore bring together expertise across engineering, product, AI, business, and operations to develop innovative solutions that make infrastructure inspection smarter, faster, and more reliable. As the Group's software development centre, we also develop the software that powers Proceq's industry-leading inspection instruments. Whether you are building cutting-edge technology, driving business growth, or supporting our operations, your work will contribute to creating safer, more resilient infrastructure that millions of people rely on every day.   We are hiring a Director of Business Development to build and grow our software business across the US and Canada, based in the United States. This is a quota-carrying individual contributor role. You will sell Eagle IQ, our asset intelligence platform for critical infrastructure inspection data, to asset owners and engineering consultancies across energy and industrials, civil infrastructure and real estate. As one of our first commercial hires in the US and Canada, you will help shape how we grow there, supported by a solutions consultant and the wider Screening Eagle team.

What will you do

* Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for Eagle IQ across the United States and Canada, with an initial focus on energy and industrial operators and engineering consultancies, working alongside our existing Americas team. * Own your territory end to end as a quota-carrying individual contributor: build your own pipeline and take opportunities from first meeting through pilot to signed contract. * Sell to asset owners and engineering consultancies across energy and industrials, civil infrastructure and real estate, treating consultancies as both clients and routes to market. * Build business cases with inspection, asset integrity and senior stakeholders, showing how structured inspection data supports better decisions over the life of an asset. * Work closely with your solutions consultant and with our product and delivery teams, feeding client insight into the roadmap and ensuring a smooth handover after signature. * Own renewals and expansion within your accounts, and forecast accurately in our CRM.

What do we expect

* A demonstrable track record of closing B2B deals and owning commercial outcomes, not just supporting them. There is no minimum number of years; evidence of moving customers to a decision is what makes applicants competitive. * A technical foundation is not required but is a plus: an engineering or science background, or experience in or around asset integrity, inspection, NDT, construction, facilities or plant operations. * Experience selling software or digital solutions to enterprise clients is a strong advantage, as is an existing network among energy and industrial operators, infrastructure owners and engineering consultancies in North America. * Comfortable on site at plants, ports, bridges and buildings, and credible with both inspection managers and senior stakeholders. * A self-starter who can build a territory with limited local support, and who wants to grow with the organisation. * Fluent business English. Spanish is an advantage, and French is an advantage for Canada. * Based in the United States or Canada, with the right to work there, and willing to travel extensively within the region.
