SUMMARY/ OBJECTIVE DYWIDAG stands as a global leader in construction and infrastructure technology that works with government authorities, asset owners, construction companies, and design offices to support their infrastructure projects. We have expanded into over 50 countries worldwide and continue to keep infrastructure safe and secure every single day. The Operations Coordinator supports the supply chain and procurement process by ensuring raw materials are readily available for all upcoming sales orders. This role will primarily handle all procurement tasks related to acquiring inventory and any other consumable needs for customer orders of all Sales business units. A Coordinator will be conscious of all deadlines/workflow and plan material purchases well ahead of time. The primary duties include ordering material, coordinating with the production schedule, and supporting the overall supply chain requirements of the manufacturing process.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS -Improves Operations efficiency. -Conducts material resource planning. -Promotes a positive and safe working environment by encouraging safe work every day. -Works with Operations Supervisor for production planning to meet customer delivery requirements. -Reviews Firm Planned production orders picking tickets issued by sales and advises sales of any issues/ changes. -Creates Released Production Orders and releases picking tickets to Operations Supervisor -Purchasing within the authority matrix. -Reviews inventory requirements and purchases or transfers material to fulfill orders. -Reviews Bar Inventories and requests stock from the mill. -Remains aware of inventory levels and plant working capital. -Works with Production on quality issues and communicates issues back to supplier. Follow up includes relaying an action plan back to Operations team. -Participates in Daily Setting Meetings. -Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE -High school degree or GED. -Familiarity with ERP systems. -Procurement experience

Compensation: $50,000 - $62,000 (Hourly)
