Job Summary: Seeking a skilled Pipe Welder experienced in SMAW (Stick) welding to join our team in Corpus Christi, TX. This is a full-time, shop-based position with no travel required. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and experienced in welding applications within a controlled shop environment.
Key Responsibilities: * Perform SMAW (Stick) welding on pipe and related components * Read and interpret blueprints, welding procedures, and specifications * Ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards * Inspect completed welds for accuracy and structural integrity * Maintain welding equipment and tools * Follow all company and shop safety protocols * Collaborate with team members to complete work efficiently * * Qualifications: * Minimum 2 years of SMAW (Stick) welding experience * Ability to pass a 6G SMAW welding test (required) * Strong understanding of welding techniques and procedures * Ability to work in a shop environment and perform physical labor * Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail *
Preferred Qualifications: * Pipe welding experience * Familiarity with industry standards and codes * OSHA certifications are a plus *
