The Laser Operator sets up and operates laser cutting, marking, and combination equipment to produce parts from job specifications. The role calls for attention to detail, safe equipment practices, and a focus on accurate, consistent work. Experience with the listed machines is a plus, not a requirement.
Responsibilities
* Review job instructions and prepare materials for processing. * Set up and operate laser equipment for assigned work. * Monitor machine operation and inspect finished parts. * Identify quality issues and report equipment concerns. * Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain an orderly work area. * Your impact: Accurate processing helps downstream teams receive parts that meet job requirements.
Skills
* Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort operating production equipment. * Ability to read work instructions and follow process details. * Careful visual inspection and attention to part quality. * Reliable communication and a safety-conscious approach. * Familiarity with any of these machines is a plus: TRUMPF TruLaser 5040; Salvagnini S-30; Bodor 6 kW; TRUMPF TruMatic 6000 / 5000; TruLaser Tube 7000; TruLaser Cell 7040 / 8030; or TruMark Station 5000.
