About the role
Moose Lake Village, a Cassia community, is hiring a Bus Driver to join our team in Moose Lake, MN! This is a great way to gain experience working within a healthcare setting!
As a Bus Driver, you will drive a bus to help with access for our residents by bringing them to scheduled events. The ideal candidate is a safe, with a positive attitude and experience supporting seniors, ready to manage scheduled trips and maintain the bus to standards.
Position Type: On-Call
Wage Range: $19.09 - $20 /hour depending on experience
Location: 710 S Kenwood Avenue, Moose Lake, Minnesota 55767
Bus Driver Responsibilities:
* Drive the bus for scheduled resident and employee outings. * Complete proper documentation for MnDOT including daily logs and quarterly reports. * Track and schedule maintenance for the bus. * Complete daily upkeep for the bus including filling up gas, washer fluid, cleaning the bus, etc. * Complete additional tasks as requested.
Bus Driver Qualifications: * Good driving record: no moving violations for the last two years. * Must pass the MnDOT physical examination and a criminal background check. * Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills. * Prior experience working with people with memory loss and physical disabilities is desired. * Friendly, outgoing and positive personality.
