JOB SUMMARY:
* Deliver health services to clients who are experiencing mental and physical conditions associated with mental illness. * Utilizes the nursing process documentation and communication skills to collaborate with physicians and other team members. * Provides nursing concepts and care plans to clients. * Provides health education training as assigned, administration of medication, collecting samples for testing, monitoring, food & liquid input/output, preparing Injections/enemas, providing patient hygiene, taking vital signs. * Cooperates with the licensee and Department of Human Services and staff in any inspection, inquiry or investigation. * Performs other duties as deemed appropriate or needed by the supervisor.
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & ABILITY:
* Degree from an accredited school of nursing. * Valid New Jersey Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). * Experience in the field of behavioral health is preferred. * Current CPR/FA certificate. * Must be at least 21 years old. * Must be able to successfully complete a physical, drug screen and background check. * Valid driver’s license in state of residence with a good driving record.
SALARY: * $30.69 to $32.96 per hour based on experience.
