Why we exist

Every decision a business makes, from the suppliers it trusts to the risks it accepts, eventually shows up as spend. This makes spend data the most honest record of how a company operates. Not the strategy deck or the org chart: spend describes what really happened.

This record exists, but it's scattered across dozens of systems and decades of legacy technology. Companies spending billions a year still can't easily answer: Who are our suppliers? Where are we exposed? What are we paying for twice?

We believe a business that can't see itself clearly can't make great decisions. Deducta exists to give the world's most complex organisations a true picture of how they operate, and the intelligence to act on it. Our ambition is to become the category-defining platform for enterprise data intelligence.

We're well funded, growing fast, and have already processed more than £1 trillion of spend for some of the world's largest and most recognisable companies. Our partners use Deducta to deliver major business transformations orders of magnitude faster.

Why this role matters

Our partners use Deducta to deliver major transformations, and winning them takes a consultative sale with senior executives. This role owns customer acquisition end to end, from opening relationships with C-suite and VP-level leaders to signed partnership. You'll report to the leadership team.

You'll have significant autonomy to lead sophisticated enterprise deals, work directly with client data in our platform, and build the business cases that win them. You'll carry a quota and be accountable for closing new business. As the commercial function grows, you'll be a leader in it, setting the standard for how we sell and shaping the repeatable motion behind it.

What you'll do

* Customer acquisition: Own the full sales cycle, from identifying and engaging senior executives through to close.

* Pipeline generation: Map target accounts, open relationships with senior stakeholders and build a pipeline of enterprises where Deducta can deliver outsized value.

* Business cases: Build quantified business cases and materials that translate Deducta's capabilities into the outcomes decision-makers care about.

* Complex deals: Lead multi-stakeholder deals, run product demonstrations, work with client data in the platform, and coordinate product, engineering and delivery to keep momentum.

* Pipeline discipline: Make next steps, risks, decision-makers and deal status explicit across every opportunity.

* Closing: Carry a quota and close new enterprise business, negotiating commercial terms and guiding deals through procurement and legal to signature.

Success in this role means:

* Quota attainment: You consistently hit your number by creating and closing high-quality enterprise opportunities where Deducta can deliver meaningful value.

* Deal momentum: Complex deals move forward with clear next steps, strong executive sponsorship and fewer stalls or surprises.

* Trusted before signing: Prospects understand the business case for Deducta and see us as a credible partner before they sign.

* Repeatable motion: You help make the commercial motion more repeatable, and others learn from how you sell.

Who you are

We're looking for a commercially minded, high-agency seller with a proven track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals. You'll combine structured problem solving and analytical depth with the drive to win sophisticated enterprise customers.

You might be the right fit if you have:

* Executive presence: You can sit across from a CPO or CFO, earn their trust and build a relationship that lasts beyond the deal.

* Commercial judgement: You read an account, understand what matters to each stakeholder and find the best path to a decision.

* Analytical instincts: You work directly with client data and turn the analysis into a clear, compelling business case.

* Programme management: You coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder processes and follow through without a pre-existing playbook.

* Product fluency: You run product demonstrations and work in the platform yourself rather than relying on others.

* Drive to win: You have the hunger to create opportunities, sustain momentum and close business, with a record of hitting or exceeding quota.

* Nice to have: Entrepreneurial experience, experience mentoring or leading others, or prior startup or high-growth go-to-market experience.

We care most about how you think, the quality of your work and how you approach unfamiliar problems. Previous startup experience isn't essential, but the pace, initiative and judgement to thrive in one are.

How we work

We believe in freedom and responsibility. We set clear priorities, share the context and trust people to decide how to deliver. You'll thrive here if you value:

* Ownership: You own the outcome, not just the task. You deliver what you commit to, follow through when things get difficult, and own your mistakes.

* Unreasonable hospitality: You treat prospects, clients and teammates with exceptional care as a default. You anticipate needs, communicate with clarity, and help others succeed.

* Bias for action: We don’t have every answer upfront. You move things forward without waiting to be asked, take calculated risks, and adapt as you learn.

* Craft: Moving quickly matters, but so does doing work that stays clear, reliable and useful as we grow.

* System building: You create leverage beyond your own output, building processes, tools and documentation that others reuse and that keep working without you.

* Candor: You tell the hard truth early, give and receive feedback thoughtfully, ask for help when you need it, and push back when priorities need to change.

* Curiosity about AI: You’re excited by what applied AI makes possible, and you look for ways to use it in your own work.

As an early team member, you'll help shape our culture, our processes and where Deducta goes next. We're growing quickly, and this role will grow with us.
