About the role

Senior Project Manager (Game Development | Co-Development)

Location: Remote | International Team

Employment: Full-Time / Long-Term

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to help lead complex game art and co-development projects at Beffio Studios.

We believe great production is more than managing schedules and tracking tasks. It is about creating clarity, enabling teams to do their best work, anticipating challenges, and keeping everyone aligned toward a shared goal.

You will work closely with artists, technical specialists, department leads, and external partners, ensuring that creative ambition translates into well-organized, predictable, and high-quality production.

This is a senior role for someone who takes ownership, communicates proactively, and knows how to balance creative flexibility with strong production discipline.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Delivery

* Own project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and day-to-day production coordination.

* Translate project objectives into clear production plans, priorities, and actionable tasks.

* Track progress, dependencies, risks, and resource requirements across multiple disciplines.

* Identify production bottlenecks early and develop practical solutions before they impact delivery.

* Maintain visibility into project health, capacity, scope, and timelines.

Team & Stakeholder Collaboration

* Work closely with art leads, technical leads, and producers to coordinate production activities.

* Maintain clear communication with external clients and co-development partners.

* Facilitate planning meetings, reviews, and milestone discussions.

* Ensure that feedback, decisions, and priorities are clearly documented and communicated.

* Support collaboration between distributed teams working across different time zones.

Process Improvement & Ownership

* Improve production workflows, reporting, documentation, and communication practices.

* Establish effective task management and project tracking standards.

* Support resource planning and workload balancing across production teams.

* Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency, predictability, and team collaboration.

* Help maintain a healthy production environment without unnecessary bureaucracy or micromanagement.

Requirements

* 5+ years of professional experience in project management, production, or related roles within game development.

* Proven experience delivering commercially released games or substantial external development projects.

* Strong understanding of game art production pipelines, including concept art, 3D art, animation, VFX, and technical art.

* Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, schedules, dependencies, and production risks.

* Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage changing priorities.

* Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.

* Experience with Jira, Notion, ShotGrid, or similar production tools.

* Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive projects forward.

* Experience working with distributed and international teams.

* Fluency in English.

Bonus Skills

* Experience in game co-development or external development studios.

* Familiarity with Unity3D or Unreal Engine production workflows.

* Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid production methodologies.

* Understanding of project budgets, forecasting, and capacity planning.

* Experience coordinating multiple parallel projects or distributed production teams.

* Familiarity with outsource management and client-facing milestone reviews.

What We Offer

* Ownership over meaningful game development and co-development projects.

* Opportunity to improve production processes and directly influence how our teams collaborate.

* Close collaboration with experienced artists, technical specialists, and international partners.

* Remote-friendly international working environment.

* Competitive compensation and flexible contract options.

* Long-term collaboration and opportunities for professional growth.

* Annual Beffio team retreats and a supportive studio culture.
