PrimeSites is seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician I to join our growing team. This position is ideal for an individual with basic maintenance experience who is eager to develop their skills and build a long-term career in multifamily housing maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
* Complete service requests and work orders in a timely and professional manner. * Assist with apartment turns, including painting, drywall repair, and general maintenance. * Perform basic repairs involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and other building systems. * Assist senior maintenance technicians with HVAC, appliance, and preventative maintenance projects. * Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests while providing excellent customer service. * Identify and report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and property deficiencies. * Maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance shops, storage areas, tools, and equipment. * Participate in an on-call rotation as assigned. * Maintain accurate records of completed work orders and maintenance activities. * Follow all company safety policies and procedures. * Assist with snow removal as needed.
Required Qualifications
* Minimum of 1 year of maintenance, construction, landscaping, facilities, or related hands-on experience preferred. * Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills. * Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and general repair techniques. * Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. * Tech is required to supply their own basic hand tools. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong customer service and communication skills. * Reliable attendance and punctuality. * Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, kneeling, bending, and working in various weather conditions. * Successful completion of a criminal background check.
