AvaMed Workforce is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a 6-month evening contract at California State Prison, Corcoran in Corcoran, CA (Medical, 8-hour shifts).
ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
* Location: California State Prison, Corcoran (COR), Corcoran, CA * Dates: 11/23/2026 - 05/23/2027 (6 months) * Shift: Tuesday-Saturday, 1:45 PM-10:15 PM (8-hour shifts, 30-min meal) * Orientation: 1 week; on-the-job training 4-6 weeks * Cerner EHR and basic computer skills highly desired * Pay: Contact us for details
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assist with patient care, vital signs and activities of daily living * Document care accurately and report changes to nursing staff * Follow all safety, security and contraband procedures
REQUIREMENTS
* Active California CNA certification (CDPH) * Current BLS (AHA) * Correctional experience preferred * Background check and facility security clearance * TB test, immunizations and facility health clearances
