Job Overview Pulse is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Band 5 Audiologist to join the Audiology Department with our client in South East London. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy NHS audiology service, delivering high-quality hearing assessments and rehabilitation services to adult patients. You will play a key role in supporting patients with their hearing healthcare needs, carrying out diagnostic assessments, fitting hearing aids, and providing ongoing follow-up care to achieve the best possible clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct full diagnostic hearing assessments. * Assess patient hearing needs and recommend appropriate interventions. * Fit and programme hearing aids. * Manage follow-up appointments and hearing aid repair clinics. * Maintain accurate and timely clinical records. * Undertake associated administrative duties. * Work collaboratively with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications and Experience
* Hold a recognised qualification in Audiology. * Have experience conducting routine adult audiology assessments. * Demonstrate experience in hearing aid fitting and management. * Possess excellent communication and patient care skills. * Be able to maintain accurate and timely clinical records. * Previous NHS experience is desirable. * Experience working within adult audiology services is preferred.
