SMS Staffing is hiring Shipping & Receiving Associates in Spring Grove, IL!
Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Associate Location: Spring Grove, IL 60081 Pay Rate: $17.00–$18.00/hr. Position Type: Full-Time
Position Summary
Responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, organizing inventory, preparing shipping documentation, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse.
Key Responsibilities for Shipping and Receiving Associate:
* Pack, unpack, and process orders.
* Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
* Load and unload packages from trucks.
* Prepare shipping labels and maintain accurate records.
* Organize inventory and label deliveries.
* Process returns and report damaged or incorrect shipments.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications for Shipping and Receiving Associate:
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Basic computer skills.
* Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently.
* Previous shipping and receiving experience preferred.
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
* Frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
* Ability to perform physical warehouse duties safely.
