About the role
UTS BuildPros is a veteran-owned commercial general contractor based in Richardson, TX. We build and renovate commercial, multifamily, energy (solar O&M), and public projects across DFW and Texas. We’re growing fast and hiring our first dedicated field superintendent to lead projects from mobilization through closeout.
What You’ll Do
* Lead day-to-day field operations on projects from $500K to $5M+, including scheduling, sequencing, subcontractor coordination, and quality control * Own site safety: daily inspections, toolbox talks, OSHA compliance, and incident reporting * Hold subcontractors to scope and schedule, and run weekly on-site coordination meetings * Complete daily reports, track progress, and flag schedule or cost risks to the Project Manager early * Manage inspections, punch lists, and closeout with owners and inspectors * Provide constructability and scheduling input during preconstruction
What You Bring
* 3+ years as a superintendent with a commercial general contractor, or 5+ years as an assistant superintendent or foreman ready to step up * Public or K-12 experience is a plus, including bonded work and prevailing wage/certified payroll * OSHA 30 required; First Aid/CPR required; SWPPP a plus * Strong scheduling skills (MS Project or P6) and comfort with construction software (JobTread, Procore, CompanyCam) * Valid driver’s license and clean driving record * Based in DFW, with occasional travel nationwide
Pay and Benefits
* $75,000–$85,000 base salary, depending on experience * Company truck or vehicle allowance, fuel card, and phone * Performance bonus tied to schedule, safety, and margin * Health, dental, and vision insurance * 401(k) with company match * Paid time off and paid holidays
