In this role, you will use OpenSCAD to complete real-world 2D and 3D CAD modeling tasks and explain your workflows step by step. Your expertise will help improve how AI systems understand CAD design and parametric modeling.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create and modify 2D and 3D CAD models using OpenSCAD.
* Develop parametric models using scripts, loops, and reusable modules.
* Work with Boolean operations, transformations, and extrusion techniques.
* Troubleshoot modeling issues and optimize CAD designs.
* Complete advanced OpenSCAD tasks and explain your workflows step by step.
* Create clear instructions and detailed prompts for CAD modeling workflows.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong professional hands-on experience using OpenSCAD.
* Experience with parametric and script-based 3D modeling.
* Good understanding of OpenSCAD syntax, modules, functions, and Boolean operations.
* Ability to create accurate and complex CAD models.
* Access to OpenSCAD and ability to record your screen while completing tasks.
* English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
* Ability to explain technical workflows clearly.
Preferred Qualifications:
* A relevant master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.
* Previous Human Data experience, such as data annotation, RLHF, or AI model evaluation.
* A portfolio or GitHub projects demonstrating OpenSCAD expertise.
* Experience with 3D printing, mechanical design, or procedural modeling.
