Position Overview:

AptNexus is seeking a Business Data Analyst to support a risk analytics team within a cybersecurity compliance program for our Department of Treasury customer. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented self-starter with a business or finance background, strong writing skills, and a growing interest in data analytics.

Duties/Responsibilities:

* Gather, document, and track business requirements for risk model and dashboard enhancements, working with customer stakeholders and the Senior Data Analyst. * Develop, maintain, and update the team’s work plan, defining tasks, owners, and deliverable deadlines as priorities change. * Schedule and coordinate quarterly planning meetings, prepare and distribute meeting materials in advance, and document discussions, decisions, and action items. * Track action items and enhancement requests through completion, and report status to the team. * Validate the accuracy of automated data outputs and rankings, and research and resolve discrepancies. * Maintain and update risk dashboards and reports, and prepare clear summaries for stakeholders. * Maintain data definitions, process documentation, and user guides. * Format and quality check deliverables for accuracy, consistency, and conformance with customer templates. * Comply with all customer security, privacy, and records management requirements, using only Government-furnished equipment and approved systems.
