Role Overview
* Location: On-site (Athens, GA) * Schedule: 1st Shift; Monday through Friday * Pay Rate: $23/hour
Your Mission as a Desktop Support Analyst I
* Provide technical and end-user support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripherals * Provide remote and on-site desktop support, troubleshooting hardware, software, application, and peripheral issues via phone, chat, or in person * Install, deploy, and maintain company systems and applications * Track and resolve incidents using internal ticketing systems while meeting SLAs * Perform software updates, including Microsoft security patches and antivirus signatures * Document processes and create knowledge base articles * Act as a liaison with third-party vendors and technicians * Order parts for hardware maintenance and repairs * Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives
What You Bring to the Team
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field OR * 4 years of equivalent work experience * A+ Certification required
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
* Intermediate desktop support and troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and peripheral issues * Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (O365), Windows environments, and SharePoint * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Detail-oriented with a strong customer service focus * Ability to prioritize tasks effectively * Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Other Requirements
* Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record * Ability to pass a background check prior to hire
