JOB DESCRIPTION APX is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented TIG & MIG Welder to support our fabrication shop operations. This role is responsible for welding and assembling metal components based on specifications and production needs. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, consistent in quality, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Responsibilities: * Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions to execute welding tasks accurately. * Perform TIG and MIG welding, primarily on mild steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel sheet metal components. * Utilize grinders to smooth welds and remove excess material or spatter, ensuring precision and quality.
Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED required. * Minimum 2 years of experience in MIG welding. * Strong ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, calipers, tape measures, and angle gauges. * Capable of working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. * Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving manufacturing setting.
