DEM Elevating Equipment, a division of Delaware Elevator, is seeking a qualified and motivated professional to join our team. If you’re a dependable CDL Class A driver who takes pride in safety, organization, and teamwork, we want to hear from you.
Essential Responsibilities
* Transport products and materials to and from various destinations * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. * Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding schedules and job status. * Load trucks for deliveries (forklift and equipment provided) * Maintain a clean, organized warehouse * Check in incoming materials and freight * Maintain CDL logs to ensure DOT compliance
Position Qualifications
* High School Diploma or equivalent * CDL Class B license (required), Class A preferred * Clean driving record * Minimum 3 years of on-the-road experience * Forklift certification * Ability to lift heavy materials (with assistance or equipment as needed) * Experience maintaining CDL logs for DOT compliance * Experience operating manual transmission vehicles preferred * Experience driving in city environments (e.g. larger metropolitan areas such as New York City)
