Overview:
This is a Contract-to-Hire Controls Hardware Designer role in Detroit, MI, focused on hardware design and documentation using EPLAN and AutoCAD. Candidates with GM/Ford standard experience are preferred.
Responsibilities:
* Design and develop controls hardware documentation and layouts * Create and maintain electrical schematics using EPLAN and AutoCAD * Support hardware design standards for automotive manufacturing environments * Collaborate with engineering teams on control panel and hardware design deliverables * Apply automotive industry standards (GM/Ford) where applicable
Requirements:
* 5-10 years of controls hardware design experience preferred * EPLAN experience preferred * AutoCAD experience highly desired * Automotive experience (GM/Ford standards) a plus * No degree required — experience-based role
