What You'll Be Doing
As a Branch/Yard Assistant, you'll support the day-to-day operation of the branch by:
* Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently * Loading and unloading vehicles safely * Assisting with goods in and stock movements * Providing customers with product information and excellent service * Serving customers on the trade counter when required * Processing orders accurately and within customer deadlines * Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and Health & Safety throughout the yard and warehouse * Working closely with colleagues to ensure the branch operates smoothly
Qualifications
Essential
✔ Excellent communication and customer service skills
✔ Good literacy and numeracy skills
✔ A positive, hardworking, and helpful attitude
✔ Willingness to learn all aspects of the branch operation
✔ Understanding of Health & Safety within a working environment
✔ Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable
⭐ Warehouse or yard experience
⭐ Computer literacy
⭐ Forklift Truck Licence
