Job Description
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
* Availability for shift duty (as may be required). * Physically capable of performing manual labor. * The ability to obtain a knowledge of water utility regulations and sampling procedures. * Record and maintain statistical operating records and water quality data. * Schedule and collect samples as required by water quality regulations, customer requests, or company requirements. * Address water quality complaints.
Qualifications
Education/Experience/Background:
* High School Diploma/GED is required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
* Possess a general knowledge of operations. * Ability to be contacted by phone and available for any and all emergencies. * Working knowledge of mathematics. * Have the ability to interpret drawings and schematics. * Have the ability to legibly draw and write. * Ability to operate Company’s SCADA system.
Required Certification/Licenses/Training:
* Must possess a valid driver license at all times. * Must have applicable NYS Operator Grade II or higher License, or ability to obtain the same.
Additional Information
Pay Rate: $49.94 per hour.
