FT Security Officer (2nd Shift)
Site Location: Toyota Battery Manufacturing Plant – Liberty, NC

Thursday thru Sunday 3:00pm - 11:00pm
OFF: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday

Security Officer Positions:
* Rover: * Foot or vehicle patrols, responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior, etc. * Gatehouse: * Greet residents and guests with a friendly demeanor, check identification, log visitor vehicles, announce visitors, control access to all persons to the property, etc. * Front Desk: * Acknowledge and greet all guests with utmost courtesy and urgency, customer service, access control, greeting residents and guests with a courteous demeanor, monitor CCTV camera systems, announce visitors, distribute packages, etc.
Responsibilities:
* Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner * Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespasser or violators from premises when deemed necessary * Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles * Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor’s arrival * Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures * Monitor and or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and or other criminal behavior * Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms * Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks * Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and or in possession of prohibited items * Respond to calls of distress, alarms and or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders * Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner * Ensures accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents) * Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed * Other duties to be determined by management
Qualifications:
* Must be at least 21 years of age or older * High school degree or equivalent * Valid state licensing, if applicable * Professional demeanor and appearance * Basic computer skills * Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks * Strong communication skills (verbal and written) * Minimum of one year of customer service experience * Minimum of one year of security experience * Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug) * This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time
