About the role
Location: Somerset, KY & Corbin, KY (and surrounding service area)
Job type: Technician Internet Installation (1099 Contractor)
Schedule: Flexible – contractors are expected to provide a minimum of 3–4 days of availability per week. Technicians must submit their availability approximately 10 days in advance.
Pay: Pay is per completed job. The average technician is paid around $1,000 per week, with weekly payouts. Established technicians can earn over $50,000 annually.
Sign-On Bonus: $1,000 after successful completion of the first 100 jobs. A technician can typically complete two jobs per day.
* Example: At 4 days per week, completing 2 jobs per day, a technician would finish 100 jobs in approximately 12–13 weeks (about 3 months).
Responsibilities/Requirements:
* Install and service residential and/or commercial internet equipment. * Perform light manual labor as needed for installation. * Travel within assigned service area to customer locations
Requirements
* Valid driver’s license. * Dependable work truck or van capable of transporting installation tools and equipment. * Ownership of basic hand tools and a 20-foot (or taller) ladder. * Ability to pass background screening. * Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety. * Prior installation or technical experience preferred, but training may be provided.
