We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos that align with our brand vision and content goals across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
* Edit raw video footage into engaging, high-quality videos
* Add transitions, effects, text, subtitles, and background music
* Create short-form and long-form videos for social media, YouTube, and marketing campaigns
* Ensure all videos align with brand guidelines and storytelling standards
* Retouch and enhance video quality (color correction, audio sync, etc.)
* Collaborate with content creators, educators, and the marketing team
* Develop creative concepts and visual storytelling approaches
* Make revisions based on feedback and ensure the timely delivery of projects
* Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines consistently
Requirements
* 6 months to 1 year of experience in video editing or similar role
* Basic understanding of video composition, storytelling, color, and typography
* Hands-on experience with tools like Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign
* Ability to work with different media formats and editing styles
* Strong creative thinking and attention to detail
* Good communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to take feedback positively and iterate quickly
* A strong portfolio showcasing previous video editing work
Preferred Qualifications
* Background in Graphic Design, Multimedia, or related field
* Experience in social media content creation (Reels, Shorts, Ads)
* Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animations
