Jobscan alternatives: 6 tools for checking and tailoring your résumé

People look for Jobscan alternatives for a few reasons: the monthly price ($49.95 a month for Premium, according to third-party reviews), the limited free scans, or a feeling that a keyword scan alone isn’t moving their search forward. The six tools below cover different parts of the same work: checking a résumé against a job, building or tailoring it, tracking applications and finding the jobs themselves.

Prices and free plans were checked on 31 October 2026. Our own product comes first because this is our site; judge it on the same facts as the others.

FindAJobAI (our product)

Good fit if you want jobs found and scored against your CV, not just one ad checked at a time.

The CV score works like a single Jobscan-style check and is free without an account. There’s no LinkedIn check and no résumé templates.

Price: Standard $14.99 a month; Pro $49.00 and Max $99.00 a month. Free: the CV score and job search tools, no account needed.

How to choose a Jobscan alternative

Start from the bottleneck in your search:

  • Your CV may not be readable by applicant tracking systems: check the format first with the free ATS résumé checklist, then compare it with real jobs.
  • Your résumé looks dated: a builder such as Kickresume or Rezi.
  • You aren’t finding enough suitable jobs: a matching tool such as FindAJobAI.
  • You’re losing track of applications: Huntr or Teal.
  • Recruiters find you on LinkedIn: Careerflow, or keep Jobscan for its LinkedIn scan.

Whatever you pick, a keyword match is a means, not the goal: our ATS résumé guide explains what applicant tracking systems actually filter and what is a myth.

Switching from Jobscan

There’s nothing to move from Jobscan except your résumé. Download your latest version, try it in the new tool with one real job, and cancel Jobscan before the next billing date: its cancellation policy only considers refunds requested within 2 days of a charge.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free alternative to Jobscan?

Several tools have free options. FindAJobAI’s CV score checks your CV against any job ad without an account; Teal, Huntr, Careerflow, Rezi and Kickresume all have free plans with limits. Jobscan itself has a free plan with 5 scans a month, according to third-party reviews.

Which Jobscan alternative costs the least?

Over a full year, Kickresume Premium ($54 a year) costs the least of the tools here. Month to month, FindAJobAI Standard ($14.99 a month) is the lowest. Both were checked on 31 October 2026.

Do I still need a keyword scanner if my CV is tailored?

Not for every application. A tailored CV already uses the job’s own words where they’re true. A quick check with a free scanner is still useful for important applications, especially if you tailored the CV by hand.
